General overview of grades

This ladder is not yet attributed to a specific organisation. Federations differ in belt colours and time requirements.

The civilian Krav Maga curriculum focuses on individual and family protection in everyday scenarios. Ranks from Practitioner 1 to Graduate 5 evaluate escape tactics, de-escalation, defenses against street punches, chokes, and knife attacks in urban environments or vehicles.
