General overview of grades

This ladder is not yet attributed to a specific organisation. Federations differ in belt colours and time requirements.

Han Mu Do (The Korean Martial Way), founded by Dr. He-Young Kimm in 1989, integrates Hapkido, Taekwondo, Yudo, and Kumdo into a balanced system. The complete hierarchy of 10 student Gups and 4 master Dans (Chodan to Sabomnim) evaluates Danjun breathing, Taekwondo kicks, Hapkido joint locks, Jang Bong staff, and Kumdo sword.
