Aikikai Aikido, the global headquarters organization governed by the Ueshiba family at Honbu Dojo in Tokyo, uses a 6th to 1st Kyu (White/Brown belt & Hakama from 1st Kyu) and 1st to 10th Dan cascade. Ranks evaluate Iriminage blending, Ikkyo to Gokyo locks, Shiho-nage, Kote-gaeshi, and non-violent harmony.
